I have oft chided this "big tent" Republican, not because a big tent Party is an unworthy or unnecessary goal (quite the opposite), but because the means with which he thinks the GOP ought to achieve this has far too often resulted in a watering down of core conservative principles. However, he took AG Erick Holder apart at the joints on the KSM issue (trying him in civilian court, in NY) yesterday and I want to give him his just praise.
