We are waist deep in Iraq and the House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, decides to piss off Turkey enough to have them recall their ambassadors! I mean, when was the last time that was done by any nation? 1941? How did she achieve this you ask? She has vowed to schedule a vote, this year, on a bill that passed committee today. A bill of GREAT importance to the US, overshadowing all problems of our war, the border, and health care - it's to label the Ottoman Empire's massacre of Armenians, during WWI, as an act of genocide.
Well, while we're at it why don't we pass legislation deciding whether Martin Luther used a tack or tape to post his grievances, whether General Patton preferred boxers or briefs and the age old mystery of whether LBJ preferred mesquite or honey BBQ. What the !#$!*&$!! is she doing up there? Just how powerful is that Frisco reefer?
