Queen Elizabeth II is making an official visit to Ireland... the first by a sitting monarch in over 100 years. In fact, it was her grandfather, George V, that last toured the island in 1911.
She is the first to come to the Republic since it was established, and there are many in Irish politics that think it a bad idea, including Gerry Adams... who thinks its "premature" but I don't know why, since the Republic has been around for the last 75+ years.
Lizzie is still breaking ground, isn't she? 60 years as Queen and still marking history.
