Old Ironsides

Virginia Ironside ... a ghoul of a woman. In listening to her I get the exact same chill across my skin as I did when watching a movie (a terrifyingly well done movie too) about the Wanasee Conference, in which Hydrich and other prominent German officials hammered out the nuts and bolts details of the Jewish extermination.

This woman, apparently, is the "Dear Abbey" of the UK. Over there such advice columnists are referred to as "agony aunts", or uncles. An apt name in this case. Found HERE, this woman appeared on a British morning talk show who's focus this day was entitled "Can abortion be a kindness?", and was meant to discuss whether it is humane to abort a fetus (or as she says, "a couple of cells") if science allows for the detection of abnormalities (Down Syndrome, etc). THAT is a disturbing enough discussion in and of itself! But this abortionist zealot, whom in the past has suggested that doctors NOT attempt to save prematurely born babies, went much further then even that, insisting that a "good" mother of a child suffering from disease would smother her offspring with a pillow. You simply MUST watch the footage to get a sense of how cold, calculating, and matter-of-fact this fiend is. I contend she would have have fit right in at Wanasee ...
