The "morning after" the big soiree, all seems well with the world. We are four pots of coffee, a pan of frosted cinnamon rolls, a dozen eggs, a pound of bacon, and a full pitcher of smoothies, and half a loaf of bread (toast, of course) into the day, with the only actual casualty being my neighbor, Paul, who brought over a bottle of Evan Williams "Honey Reserve" bourbon whiskey which he finished off by himself (very impressive, believe me).
Everyone seemed to have a good time, we neither broke nor burned any furniture (although we did end up having a small bonfire once the sun went down... it still gets damn chilly here in the evenings!) and, for once, we seemed to have eaten all the food we cooked. The only left-overs are the uncooked chicken and hot dogs still in the fridge.
You guys missed a good time... we have got to find a way to get you guys here before the summer is over once and for all. Two years is too long.
