By the way, my latest in the oil thread is just above Jambo's Episode 9. It posted in such a spot because I initiated the first few paragraphs hours ago at work. Speaking of episodic -

"I know that at least 50% of the Bund are "infrequent" Facebook users, at best... and none of us seem to be "junkies" like so many of our friends and family are... but if any of you have thoughts or opinions on this sort of "drama", I'd love to hear them."

Let me sum it up for any "Bund fans" out there - he means me. And for good reason. Many moons ago I was quite literally baited into establishing a Facebook account with the encouragement from Jambo that I could "perhaps" link up with a certain smoking hot female (and I mean, DAMN) from our Grand days (by the way, that didn't materialize, I'm human after all). Jambo's mere mention, confession really, that he had such an account caused squeamish tones in my cell phone if I remember right, for he knew my inevitable - "you're so gay" scorn was soon to follow. So yes I have an account, which I've attended to a grand total of maybe 3 times, in over a year. By Facebook standards I don't even have an account. Which brings me to my point-

I get the checking up on your kids part, that's actually not a bad angle. But ANYONE over the age of 25 whom maintains or participates in a Facebook account should be wearing a court ordered monitoring bracelet, that's all I'm saying. Seriously, at 40+ years old "I'm knitting a sweater, I have a 9p start tonight, My dark load of laundry is done" ..... WHO CARES???? Dear Lord in Heaven I swear Facebook and "Tweets" (in which my angst over writing is only surpassed in the act of saying the word) will be the end of Western Civilization as we know it. Forget collapsing currency, socialist administrations, oil shortages, this is the end game. The world will be on fire and we'll all be at the PC asking people who live next door, "when did you get back from vacation?" Ugghhh.
