Oh, and by the way...

The race I am watching the closest is the Rand Paul run for the KY Senate seat now held by Jim Bunning (R).

Rand is every bit the libertarian that his father is, and the almost unprecedented endorsements of the GOP candidate (Sec of State Trey Grayson) by the likes of Dick Cheney and Rudy Giuliani because he supports the war in Iraq more than Rand does has added a lot of interest to this race. If KY can get behind a guy like Paul, who has already said he'd work to close both the ED and the Department of Agriculture as a Senator, then I'd say that is a very good indicator of just what kind of an impact the Tea Party has had on American today.

If Paul wins today, and then again in November, he will, without a doubt in my mind, be the most "far right" Senator of them all, and could really make some waves for the GOP in 2012.
