How many insights to this CIC's soul do we need?
Referring to the active duty military personnel: "You should get a medal for NOT shooting." He is seriously proposing an award for showing, "courageous restraint." I don't care what they say the context is this was said in, it's an asinine statement at any time, but especially when we're at war.
I'll say this for FDR, at least he understood the concept of total war when facing complete evil. Obama fancies himself the new FDR, even a new Reagan (in terms of leading a movement) I've heard him say ... I think not.
And by the way, if he didn't have his head so far up his own ASS he'd understand that our men receive medals "for not shooting" all the time - enter the posthumously awarded Medal of Honor to a Navy SEAL (by Bush) for jumping on a grenade to smother the blast & save his team while on a roof top during an assault.
I don't find this president particularly bright, at all.
