We are really facing the prospect of 4, maybe 8, years with a President that sees his leadership of the US Armed Forces as (at best) a tertiary role in his new position. This is tragic, in my eyes.
He can make no bigger mistake than to ignore... or worse, dismiss... the soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines of the military. It is Clinton's second-biggest black mark on his legacy (eclipsed only by his title as one of only TWO Presidents out of 43 to be impeached... over a fat chick, too!).
He's off to a bad start... can it get worse?
