Gonna give me a pass...I don't think so

Well it has been a while since I posted anything of any consequence..if ever at all but if there is anything I can't stand it's being dismissed.

Let's start with a small reality check. The Democrats are in office and Comrade Obama is in charge. These things are facts and they can't be changed at this particular moment in time. The Taliban are growing in number and strength in Afghanistan and the CIC has put a halt to the troop surge in Afghanistan. The members of the finest military in the world are finally getting the gear they need, new body armor (except for the bad batch the Army bought oops), MRAPs are rolling off the line and moving in theatre, we are finally replacing our severely aging fleet of C-130's which was desperately needed and the members of the military found their dignity once again. That being said the DOD has been told to slash their budget by no less than 10%, we have a new CIC that decideds that the only inaugural ball he is going to skip is the one held for Medal of Honor Awardees. A president that gives his first official TV interview to AL Arabia and as of yet has not addressed his military (that I know of or that I've seen). He is attempting to have a bill pushed forward that is in no way shape of form an economic stimulus package and shows up on TV blowing smoke up the American People asses...again. We are looking at the possibility of a large portion of the banking industry being federalized or regulated to the point where it might as well be. Unemployment is on it's way up with no stop in sight, housing values falling through the floor and people scared to spend what money they do have for fear their won't be any to have in the near future. None of this proposed stimulus bill will fix any of this..AT ALL.

Jambo is attempting to put forth a plan where because the govenment is going to spend all of our money anyways the people get to see the results of what has been spent in a tangible way and has some benefit to a large portion of American soceity and yet you dog him for his efforts. I give him kudos for his fine writing and his proactive approach to modern politics but writing his congressman and posting the return letter. Not just hot air, but action.

We have all posted here and alot of times we have to agree to disagree but Jambo has proven beyone a doubt that he is not just a buch of self promoting hot air but a bonafied legitimate card carrying member of the the United States and I applaud him.
