The spin is so bad I think I'm going to puke

Well to start this off I was found by an old friend that I used to swim with in Germany and one thing leads to another and now I'm on Facebook. It has been really cool talking to everyone again after so many years but in the midst of getting reacquainted I run across this article http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-bromwich/rules-of-engagement-from_b_154669.html on one of their pages. Never having read the Huffington Post I was curious and I should have learned by now what happens when you get to poking your nose around things. Turns out this is one of the most liberal, ultra left wing, Bush hating virtual rags out there. Now we all know that I am a moderate and hate all things extreme (right or left) and this fool pissed me off.

He starts off in the right direction, talking about rockets into Israeli towns basically paralyzing life in those areas and then takes a hard left and starts using terms like massacre, as it relates to the Israeli bombing of Gaza. This guy has no idea what a massacre is apparently. In the military operations terms my definition would go something like "The intentional unprovoked killing of unarmed civilians". Now in the case of Gaza and civilain casualties the Israelis have been more responsible than most countries in the past by giving the population notice that they are going to bomb, up to 15 minutes notice. In the case of the ground offensive the whole population was given days notice to leave. Did this guy sleep through history class in school, did he miss the news about Bosnia or Rowanda. Wait a second, Darfur has been all over the news and he calls this operation in Gaza a massacre?

He goes on to say that the US is a puppet to Isreal and that they pull our strings. Where has this guy been, under a rock or just living in his own hazed out brain.

Any commentary would be nice, maybe I read this wrong
