"Under God" is NOT a prayer...

That according to the Ninth US District Appeals Court in San Fransisco. 2-1 was the decision, and the dissent was from an avowed liberal.

An affirmation of the founding principles that our unalienable rights stem from a Power higher than the government, and that they are inherent in their nature rather than given and should be protected, not provided. A sound decision, I think.

So, with the Constitutional nature of both "In God We Trust" and "Under God" now secured by the Judicial branch of our government, the score stands:

Liberal/Atheists = 0
Traditional American values = 2
