I want to know who okay'd the bill that stated it was "policy" to pay that man $12 million a year for 12 years while he was waiting for us to over-throw Saddam and prop him up in his place?
$12,000,000 a year just in personal monies... his complete bankroll was more than $36,000,000 a year, to keep his staff and advisers happy and healthy, too. The man was wanted in Iraq, not for "fighting against Saddam" or "treason against the Ba'ath Party"... he was wanted for murder, theft, embezzlement, and illegal arms deals. Even knowing who leveled the charges (Saddam's regime), these are not your typical crimes that most "freedom fighters" are accused of anymore, are they? In fact, they sound alot like what Saddam was guilty of prior to his taking control of the country.
Sheesh.
