Ryan's post was good... better than good, in fact. His sarcasm in suggesting that he's a "parrot" of the conservative media was noted, but it made me think about something.
Rupert Murdoch... multi-billionaire, media mogul, and massively influential when he wants to be, this guy is the owner of more media outlets voicing conservative views than anyone else, I'd guess... The New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, Barron's... the list is long and impressive. He even owns the building "high above Times Square" that Glenn Beck calls home for his radio broadcast.
Why did this guy support Obama in '08? He was vocal in his support, and gave vast amounts of money to the DNC... exactly what the DNC was bitching about in 2010 when he gave it to the RNC to get Pelosi and Reid out of Congress. What changed his mind... beyond the obvious, I mean? Did he ever explain his change of heart?
He's "conservative" enough to warrant Ryan's use of his conservative position as the owner of Beck's parent company in his past post, but was openly supporting Obama-Biden only two years ago. What happened?
